Surfacing - The Meaning in the Story

My Wings with guest Kathleen Bonistall

The Mental Health Association of Westchester Season 2 Episode 18

We are joined today by Kathleen Bonistall, one of MHA’s program directors. We know that her story is not easy for her to re-tell, so we appreciate that she does so for the sole purpose of connecting with and encouraging others. The loss of her daughter to a violent crime while in college, spurred Kathleen and her family to found Peace Outside Campus, The Lindsey M Bonistall Foundation, advocating for student safety.

Please note that this episode contains discussion around topics that may be difficult for some listeners, including sexual assault and homicide. We encourage you to do what’s right for you, even if that means saving this episode for a time when it feels healthier to listen. As always, we have provided links below to some helpful resources recommended by Kathleen and the link to learn more about Peace Outside Campus.
